This modern addition to the coast, built in 1967, is managed by the Esposito Family, who ensure the delivery of an authentic Italian experience. The hotel's restaurant features artisan ceramic tiles that echo the shades of the sea below and offers diners views over the Mediterranean from large arched picture windows. Regional cuisine is accompanied by robust local wines. A lift connects private parking with each of the four floors that adhere to the cliff and a terrace provides the perfect venue for a cool drink against a most stunning backdrop. There is a stepped pathway from the bottom floor of the hotel bypassing Moet & Chandon villa down to Conca dei Marini beach where there is a restaurant & bar. The rooms are pleasantly decorated and most have stunning views. Both room categories, Side and Front seaview, are airconditioned with bath or shower, telephone and television.

The Aurora lies in one of the most charming parts of Amalfi, right on the sea front and just a short walk from Amalfi's public beach, the picturesque harbour and famous Piazza Duomo in the town centre. With a relaxed ambience the hotel is light and airy reflecting its Mediterranean surroundings. There is a terrace where al fresco breakfast is possible in the summer months affording tremendous views over the sea. From the beach you may swim to St. Andrea's cave and a whole array of enchanting nearby coves, perfect for sunbathing, quiet, secluded and romantic. This part of Italy is sometimes called the `territory of the mermaid's' due to the clear blue waters, secluded coves and wonderful scenery. The hotel's shady garden is a great place to relax and enjoy the sunshine and views. The bright and modern rooms have telephone, minibar, shower and television can be provided on request.
