The largest resort in the Bernese Oberland is nestled between two glittering lakes and is overlooked by the impressive Jungfrau, a true tourist centre. interlaken The gateway to the Bernese Oberland, Interlaken offers a great tradition of service and a wide variety of things to see and do. INFORMATION Airport: Zürich and Geneva. Local Transport: A regular bus service runs between Interlaken Ost and West. The public buses in Interlaken are free for all guests. Regular train services run from Interlaken Ost to the many pretty resorts of the Bernese Oberland and beyond. Regular steamers travel on Lake Thun and Brienz. Fly Luggage: Operates to Interlaken. Transfers: 2nd class rail transfers included. 1st class rail travel is available for a supplement of £16.
