Legendary St. Anton with its attractive and historical town jostles for position amongst the mighty Arlberg mountains and is home to some of Europes greatest skiing as well as a world famous après-ski scene. LIFT PASS Pass covers the Arlberg Ski-Circus including Lech and Zürs. BEGINNERS There are a few beginner runs above Nasserein and some blues to tackle at Gampen with the aid of the excellent ski school. INTERMEDIATES Good adventurous intermediates will find plenty of runs in this huge area, from the blues and reds at Galzig and Gampen to the gentle run to St. Christoph or the White Circus route around Lech and Zürs, which has the best cruising runs. There is also a terrain park at Rendl, which has a half-pipe, quarter-pipe, jumps and rails. ADVANCED St. Anton ranks amongst the worlds best resorts for experts, with a vast array of on and off-piste challenges, superb free riding terrain and an excellent snow record. Ski routes from the mighty Valluga are not to be missed, whilst the powder fields at Stuben are well worth exploring.
APRÈS SKI Excellent restaurants including the highly acclaimed Hospiz Alm in St Christoph as well as a huge choice in St. Anton. St. Anton is renowned for lively nightlife including the Mooserwirt and Krazy Kanguruh for true Austrian après ski plus plenty of bars and clubs open until the early hours. ACTIVITIES The Superb Arlberg-well.com leisure complex has indoor and outdoor pools, saunas and steam rooms with large windows overlooking the resort and mountains. There are also plenty of nonskiing activities including shopping, trains to Innsbruck, tobogganing, ice-skating, paragliding, sleigh rides, winter walks, paragliding, ski museum and curling. FAMILIES There is a day Kindergarten for children from 3-7 years Sunday to Friday, 9.30am to 3.30pm approximately ¬320 per week.
