Whistler is a fabulous resort combining two great mountains, Whistler and Blackcomb on Canada's west coast. Although purpose built, the town is an appealing mix of quality hotels and condos with a great range of bars and restaurants. The varied terrain has everything from steep couloirs and bumps to powder bowls and gentle tree-lined cruising, making this the perfect choice for boarders and skiers of all levels alike.

LIFT PASS Pass covers Whistler and Blackcomb mountains. BEGINNERS Whistler and Blackcomb both have fantastic nursery slopes and plenty of gentle runs to explore, with some lovely long green runs that are perfect for confidence boosting. INTERMEDIATES Whistler Blackcomb is an intermediate's paradise with a huge number of wellgroomed pistes, wide open bowls, snow sure glacier runs as well as easy runs through the trees. The new Peak to Peak gondola, opening in December 2008, will link the two mountains improving the overall access to both ski areas. ADVANCED The bowls on Whistler Mountain are an advanced skier and rider's dream offering chutes and gullies of varied steepness and plenty of challenges and are not to be missed in fresh snow. Blackcomb offers some very testing runs such as the infamous Couloire Extreme and Spankey's 120
ladder, whilst boarders can try out the world class terrain parks and freeriding terrain. APRÈS SKI Whistler village offers plenty of lively nightlife with something to suit all tastes and a huge choice of restaurants, bars and clubs. ACTIVITIES Snowmobiling, dog sledding, sleigh rides, scenic flights, heli-skiing, cat-skiing, sports centre with indoor pool and ice-skating, shopping, trips to Vancouver and ice hockey matches.
