Saariselkä, located on the edge of a national park far inside the Arctic Circle. Inhabited all year round, Saariselkä has a long history and vibrant local Sámi culture. LIFT PASS Pass covers all lifts, children under 7 wearing a helmet have a free pass. Lift pass is included with lessons. SKIING Saariselkä is a fantastic place to learn to ski with undulating wide green & blue slopes that are perfect for beginners. Intermediate skiers will enjoy the uncrowded snow-sure slopes that are ideal for perfecting your style and techniques. The snow is always in peak condition so advanced skiers can enjoy some great powder runs. APRÈS SKI Lively après-ski can be found in a few infamous pubs such as Gold Panners bar, Panimo and the Be Bop pub. ACTIVITIES Saariselkä is well known for the fabulous activities available including dog-sledding, reindeer sleigh rides, snowmobiling, crosscountry skiing, snowshoeing and winter walks.
