One of the most charming hotels we've found in Switzerland offering an excellent standard of accommodation, facilities and dining. Located in the centre of Davos Dorf, the pretty, chalet style Meierhof is excellent value for money. The oldest part of the Meierhof dates back to 1890, just when Davos was developing into a resort. This family run gem is one of our best selling hotels. Beautiful use of natural wood is made throughout the hotel, which houses a large indoor pool, a spa with saunas, jacuzzi, fitness corner, solarium and relaxation area. Dining at the Merierhof in the attractive, traditional restaurant is a real culinary experience with excellent Swiss buffet breakfasts and delicious five-course evening menus. Twice a week you will be surprised with special culinary themes such as a Davos farm buffet, gala menu and dessert buffet. The welcoming bar completes the high standard of facilities. There is a children's playroom for younger guests and a games room. All rooms are attractively decorated, modern yet traditional with bath or shower, radio, telephone, minibar and television. Standard rooms are in the main building. Comfort rooms are larger and either south or north facing. All south facing rooms have a balcony. Superior rooms are located in the residence building and are very spacious, with a sitting area, sofa bed and south facing balcony, ideal for up to four persons.
