LIFT PASS Pass covers all lifts in Zermatt and Cervinia. BEGINNERS There are beginners areas at Sunnegga, Riffelberg and Schwarzsee. Beginner private lessons of three half days are available, £321 one person, £358 two persons. INTERMEDIATES Really geared towards the intermediate skier with all three areas having miles of satisfying blue and red runs. The slopes offer superb opportunities to stop for lunch in some of the best mountain restaurants in Switzerland. ADVANCED Everything the advanced skier could wish for, with black runs, brilliant off piste and some difficult mogul slopes including the Triftji Bumps on the Stockhorn. APRÈS SKI Zermatt has something to suit all tastes and pockets with a multitude of restaurants, snow bars, pubs with live music and several night clubs. There is a very friendly
feel throughout the village and this entices non skiers just to enjoy the atmosphere and delights of après ski. ACTIVITIES Ice-skating, curling, sleigh rides, swimming, winter walks, indoor tennis, cross-country skiing, paragliding and heli-skiing. FAMILIES The Snowflakes club offers parents the opportunity to enjoy their time on the snow whilst the children are looked after in the middle of the ski area of Schwarzsee by specially trained personnel. The Snowflakes Kids Park is fitted out with a rolling carpet to make it easier for kids to experience their first steps towards skiing. Five half days with lunch £232 per child. SCENIC HELICOPTER FLIGHTS Fly above the beautiful mountains surrounding Zermatt with the famous Air Zermatt. While flying around the Matterhorn you will see the world-famous mountain from a perspective that usually only mountaineers do. 20 minute flight £105 per person (minimum four people).
