Here Loraine shares her memories of their special day& Was there a particular reason why you chose to marry abroad? We wanted the best of both worlds, it was December and I really liked the idea of a winter wedding but in the sun and my husband wanted to marry in a church. We both wanted something that was just for us with no fuss or worrying about all the little details so chose to go abroad. Why did you choose Fiji? We chose Fiji because it is a once in a lifetime destination, neither of us had been there before and we wanted paradise. What type of ceremony did you have and where was it? We had a ceremony in the little private chapel on the island of Tokoriki, there was a Fijian choir singing which was beautiful. Did you have any guests at your wedding or was it just the two of you? We had no guests just the choir and the flower girls, the Minister and the Wedding Coordinator (he was lovely) and couldnt have been more helpful. Did you add anything extra to your wedding package to make it more special? Everything we wanted was included in the package, it was special in every way. What was your most memorable moment of the day? I think the most memorable moment of the day was when I heard the drumbeats and choir outside the villa and saw the little flower girls waiting outside, it made such an exciting atmosphere. Is there anything you would do differently, or any advice you would give to other bridal couples? There is nothing that I would do differently, perhaps if it were in my power to make the day last longer I would do that. In terms of advice for other couples I would just say relax and enjoy it! Where did you honeymoon? Our whole wedding and honeymoon included Fiji, Castaway Island for five nights then on to Tokoriki for one week and the ceremony, then on to Singapore and then Langkawi for Christmas and Kuala Lumpur for New Year. call 01306 747007 I www.kuoni.co.uk/weddings I see your travel agent 49
