Certain exotic destinations do not yet offer weddings but make dream honeymoon locations. Some couples are taking the opportunity to add a new dimension to their overseas wedding experience by combining destinations, marrying in one and honeymooning in another. THAILAND MULTI-CENTRE
To marry in Thailand, all you need is to sign an affidavit, register at the British Embassy and legalise the union at the District Registrars Office, both situated in Bangkok. Once these appointments are completed, you are legally married no formal ceremony or exchange of vow. Then you could head for one of Thailands outstanding beaches, in resorts such as Hua Hin, Krabi, Phuket or Koh Samui, for a more traditional Buddhist blessing, or for a marvellously laid back honeymoon holiday.
SRI LANKA AND MALDIVES
