This step by step guide will assist you when booking your Kuoni wedding, so you can be safe in the knowledge that all the details of your wedding will be taken care of by one of our Wedding Team. BEFORE THE BOOKING Choosing your destination Using both the Kuoni 2009 Weddings and Honeymoons brochure and one of our main holiday brochures choose a destination that best suits all of your requirements. When making your decision it is worth bearing in mind such things as the days of departure for flying, the weather and the special wedding and honeymoon packages offered by the hotels. Check through the legal requirements for any restrictions that may apply. THE BOOKING Booking your wedding Call the Kuoni Wedding Team on 01306 747007 to check the availability of your chosen departure dates. We recommend booking your wedding as far in advance as possible. Some bookings may need to be booked 12 weeks before departure. A £200 wedding deposit will be taken at the time of booking. One week after booking your wedding We will send you a wedding information pack with more details about your wedding and any documentation you need plus a simple form will be provided that you need to complete and return to us. Please take the time to read through all the information provided, especially any legal requirements and documents you may need to provide. We will request your preferred wedding date from the overseas authorities after we have received your completed form. If your choice of preferred dates is unavailable, for whatever reason, an alternative will always be offered. Your wedding date will usually be confirmed within seven days. If you would like to add any additional family and friends onto the booking please tell us as soon as possible to avoid any disappointment if availability becomes an issue. COUNTDOWN TO YOUR KUONI WEDDING Documentation As soon as possible ensure that you have all of the relevant documentation you will require to provide according to your destinations requirements. If you need to request copies from the authorities these can take up to three months to be processed and posted so please allow plenty of time. If you are changing your passport into your married name ensure you leave plenty of time for your passport to be processed and sent back to you. Three months prior to departure Check that all documentation has been received by the Kuoni Wedding Team so they can process your wedding licence. Visit your GP to determine if you need any vaccinations before you travel. One month prior to departure Check that you have all your original documentation that you need to take to the resort with you. Ensure you have suitable luggage carriers for your wedding attire and that you understand the airlines rules concerning baggage allowances. AFTER THE WEDDING Check your marriage certificates and ensure all the details are correct. If certified copies are required please contact our Wedding Team.
