AUSTRALIA THE LAND DOWN UNDER
The Barrier Reef & Whitsunday Islands are blessed with unspoilt beaches and abundant marine life, some set in national parks and others offering the height of luxury. There is nowhere else like the very private `Chapel in the Rainforest' just outside Cairns, where Australian hospitality blends effortlessly with an exquisite taste in style and design. The chapel is run by Rosann Hall who has lived in her beautiful house in the grounds and arranged weddings here for many years. Most Kuoni weddings at the chapel are conducted by Wayne Rees who is quite simply one of the most charming and sincere wedding celebrants we know. Wayne has become a long term friend to many of the couples he marries. About 300 miles by road from Alice Springs, Uluru-Katatjuta National Park is home to the most recognised Australian landmark - Uluru (previously called Ayers Rock) one of the most stunning wedding locations we know.
THAILAND LAND OF ENDLESS SMILES
Thailand's level of service, impeccable standards and welcoming hospitality have become legendary throughout Asia, earning it this most well deserved `nickname'. If you are looking for a combination of cultural insight and idyllic beach resorts along with a unique and romantic place to be married, then look no further. From the bustling capital of Bangkok to the northern retreats of Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai, Thailand boasts a spectacular array of glittering temples and huge Buddhist statues, saffron robed monks and fascinating hill tribes. For those seeking pure relaxation after registering your marriage in Bangkok, Thailand's coastline and islands are heavenly, with glorious sun-soaked, white sandy beaches lapped by crystal clear warm waters. From the diverse and lively resort of Phuket to the smaller island of Koh Samui and idyllic peaceful shores of Krabi, there are wonderful places for a traditional Thai or Western wedding celebration.
