INTRODUCTION INDIAN OCEAN & AFRICA MAURITIUS ISLAND HEAVEN ON EARTH Lying in the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean, the beauty of this picturesque island lies in its thickly wooded mountain peaks towering above the sugar cane plains which border the glorious coastline. Crystal clear waters and soft white sandy beaches form the ideal surroundings for a superb beach holiday. A unique feature of the landscape is the extinct volcanoes scattered around the island.
