The name Dhara Dhevi derives from the Sanskrit words meaning `Star Goddess', epitomising romance, mystique and legendary beauty. Designed in keeping with the regions historical Lanna structures, the Mandarin Oriental Dhara Dhevi combines local culture with astoundingly vast yet manicured grounds, exceptional facilities and unfaltering service in a truly magical retreat ten minutes drive from Chiang Mai. Dining options at the Mandarin Oriental are exquisite and vary from al fresco options with rice paddies as a backdrop to Northern Thai specialities, the finest French cuisine and traditional Chinese tastes.
