DAY 2 TO DAY 4 Arrive in the vibrant and exciting city of Singapore and transfer by private car to a Horizon club deluxe room at the Shangri-La Singapore (p60). Located on Orchard Road this is an ideal position for enjoying some of Singapore's famous shopping opportunities. During your three nights in this lively city a visit to Raffles is a must, either for afternoon tea in the Tiffin room or a Singapore Sling at the Long Bar. DAY 5 TO DAY 9 Today leave behind the energy of Singapore for a spot of relaxation. Fly Singapore Airlines to the magical island of Bali, where rice paddies merge with volcanic hillsides and sandy beaches are lapped by clear waters. Transfer by private car to your stylish and contemporary Studio suite at the intimate and well-positioned Legian (p72) on Seminyak beach. During your five nights on this breathtaking island you will be indulged with a level of smiling service that is difficult to match. During your three nights in Hong Kong enjoy the twinkling skyline and diverse scenery from skyscrapers to beaches and floating villages. DAY 13 TO DAY 15 Fly Cathay Pacific to the contrasting city of Bangkok. On arrival transfer by private car to a Deluxeview suite at Banyan Tree Bangkok (p46), located in the heart of the city centre. During your stay why not savour a dinner cruise on the Chao Phraya River, visit the floating market or marvel at the ornate Grand Palace. DAY 16 Depart from Bangkok flying British Airways to Heathrow, arriving the next morning. Alternatively extend to your choice of Thai beach resort.
