This ying safari o ers the ultimate journey of breathtaking beauty, high class accomodation and amazing game viewing in three of Tanzania's best safari locations Tarangire, Ngorongoro and the incomparable Serengeti.
DAY 1 Kenya Airways overnight ight to Kilimanjaro via Nairobi, where you transfer to Arusha Co ee Lodge for one night. DAY 2 Air Excel light aircraft ight to Tarangire National Park, dominated by great Baobab trees and elephant troops. A game drive follows en route to Nomad Tarangire Camp for lunch, your base for two nights. The Camp is a small and intimate experience of Bedouin luxury with just four luxury tents, attentive service and the opportunity of game walks as well as drives. After settling in, embark on an afternoon game drive, then dinner and overnight. DAY 3 Enjoy a full day game drive today in the National Park giving maximum opportunity to spot the elusive predators and other big game, as well as plentiful plains game. DAY 4 This morning y by Air Excel the short distance to Manyara where you will transfer to the Ngorongoro Crater Lodge for two nights. This beautiful stilted lodge is set on the crater edge with unequalled views. Each butler served suite is lavishly furnished with en suite bathroom, open re and crater view balcony. Game drives down to the crater oor are breathtaking and the game to be found here is amongst the best in the world.
DAY 6 Air Excel ight north to the vast plains of the Serengeti and two nights at the Nomad Serengeti Safari Camp. Strategically located as close to the animals as possible (moving within the Serengeti every two weeks or so according to migration patterns), each luxury tent is en suite with traditional safari style bucket showers, wc and hot and cold water on tap. Drinks around a roaring re and meals in the mess tent add a sociable atmosphere. Flexibility to plan daily activities according to your own schedule is one of the added and appreciated features. DAY 8 After breakfast y Coastal Air back to Arusha for your evening Kenya Airways ight from Kilimanjaro to Heathrow, via Nairobi. Or continue your stay with an extension to Zanzibar for ve nights at the Zamani Zanzibar Kempinski in a Garden room (p148) to recuperate before your Kenya Airways overnight ight to Heathrow via Nairobi.
