DAY 1 Virgin Atlantic overnight ight from Heathrow to Delhi. DAY 2 On arrival transfer to The Oberoi, New Delhi for two
nights in a Premier room and enjoy an excellent location close to the centre of Delhi and its innumerable attractions. A wealth of facilities await including four world class restaurants and the nely stocked Club Bar. An open-air pool refreshes weary limbs, or indulge yourself at the Banyan Tree Spa. Later enjoy an afternoon orientation tour of the imperial architectural masterpiece of Lutyen's New Delhi. DAY 3 After breakfast a fascinating tour of bustling Delhi begins at its heart, Connaught Place, before moving on to the chaotic yet mesmerising Old Delhi with its narrow bustling streets and colourful bazaars. Later drive to Agra for two nights in a Premier room at The Oberoi Amarvilas (approx. 4 hours). Finely crafted in a style that draws inspiration from the traditions of Moorish and Mughal architecture, The Oberoi Amarvilas is a breathtaking luxury resort standing just 650 yards from the Taj Mahal. Enjoy exquisite views of the graceful monument from its restaurant, bar and all guest rooms. DAY 4 The highlight of any journey to India, this morning visit the enchanting Taj Mahal. are justiably a masterpiece of the modern world. A short tour around Agra follows including the massive 16th Century sandstone fort. The afternoon is left at leisure with optional tours available. DAY 5 After breakfast drive to Jaipur (approx. 4½ hours, stopping to wander the deserted Mughal city of Fatehpur Sikri. Abandoned due to a lack of water supply, it remains an exceptional example of Mughal splendour. Spend two nights at The Oberoi Rajvilas in a Premier room. Located just ve miles from the Pink City' centre, the resort recreates the architecture of a traditional Rajasthani fort with red sandstone walls and torchlit ramparts. A blossoming 32-acre orchard garden surrounds a main swimming pool and relaxing spa. The acclaimed restaurant serves traditional Indian dishes and international cuisine. DAY 6 Drive out of Jaipur and visit the Amber Fort, perched high above the surrounding area. In the afternoon return to Jaipur and the Royal Observatory, Maharaja's Palace and the unique façade of the Palace of the Winds. DAY 7 A relaxing day free to explore the markets and bazaars of Jaipur or take an optional tour to the palace at Samode. DAY 8 A leisurely day that includes a drive back to Delhi (approx. 4 hours) for one last night at The Oberoi, alternatively choose to extend your stay in India and drive directly to The Oberoi Vanyavilas in the Ranthambore National Park or y from Jaipur to your next chosen destination.
