In the South Male Atoll, beachfront and over-water restaurants o er views of the lagoon and dining under the stars, and there's a wine room and Equator Bar. Leisure facilities include a swimming pool, Taj Spa with treatments, t'ai chi, yoga and meditation, a PADI Dive Centre, canoeing, catamaran sailing, windsurng and waterskiing. Fishing trips, sunset cruises and private desert-island excursions can be arranged. And there's a boutique, library, billiards and beach volleyball. Each of the 62 villas has airconditioning, minibar, telephone, television, internet data-port, DVD/CD player, tea/co ee facilities, espresso machine, bath, separate shower and terrace. Lagoon villas are semi-detached, overwater on stilts close to the beach, with sun deck and bathroom with bathtub overlooking the lagoon. Deluxe lagoon villas are more individual and have private with plunge pool on the sun deck. Deluxe beach villas with pool have beachfront terrace with sun beds, hammock, large plunge pool and outdoor shower. Beach villa suites with pool are luxuriously spacious and beachfront. Two-level suites with plunge pool are available on request ideal for families. Transfer from the airport: 20 minutes by speedboat. Meals per night: Dinner from £53; lunch and dinner from £82.
