DAY 3 Transfer 3½ hours by private car to Sigiriya amid Sri Lanka's cultural triangle. Choose from the following two unique hotels for three nights: Vil Uyana: Harmoniously blends luxury with its unique natural habitat. This is a true haven for lovers of nature and those who wish to escape from everyday life. Lying just three miles from Sigiriya, Vil Uyana o ers convenient access to the cultural triangle. Here you may dine al fresco with breathtaking vistas in the more formal ne dining room or in your pavilion. Relax by the swimming pool, enjoy the bar or the peaceful library lounge. There is a spa, DVD library, boutique, bicycles and tness centre. The 25 luxurious pavilions all have airconditioning, telephone, minibar, television, CD/DVD player, sitting area, bath and shower. The Paddy Field dwellings are on stilts over the paddy elds with private plunge pools. Elephant Corridor: Overlooking the Kandalama Hills close to Sigiriya, Elephant Corridor has been carefully preserved in its natural surroundings for those who wish to feel at one with nature. Set amidst 200 acres and surrounded by virgin jungle, elephant rides, horse riding, bicycles and bird watching are all possible. Facilities include the jungle bar, library bar and à la carte dining.
