Visit the world's highest sand dunes at the remarkable Namib Desert, explore the World Heritage Site of Twyfelfontein and spot Africa's most famous mammals at the thrilling Etosha National Park, all in ultimate comfort on this luxury safari experience. DAY 1 Fly South African Airways from Heathrow overnight to Johannesburg and onwards to Windhoek. DAY 2 On arrival, transfer to the Hotel Heinitzburg for the afternoon and overnight. DAYs 3 & 4 Board a light aircraft for your flight to the Kulala Wilderness reserve. En route, gaze out over the Namib-Naukluft mountain range and rugged wilderness before arriving at the Kulala Desert Lodge where you will stay for two nights. The Kulula Desert Lodge offers a luxurious setting from which to enjoy this beautiful area of Namibia with 15 private thatched and canvas tents with a roof top deck where bedrolls are provided should you wish to sleep out beneath a blanket of stars. During your two days at Kulala, get to know the enchanting landscape and its inhabitants a little better with guided game drives and walks into the reserve for a chance to see ostrich, springbok, spotted hyena, porcupine, Cape fox and aardwolf. You can also enjoy a game drive to the famed Sossusvlei dunes, the highest sand dunes on earth, or an excursion to the Sesriem Canyon. For an extra cost you can gain a whole new perspective from horseback. DAYs 5 & 6 After breakfast transfer by light aircraft to Doro Nawas Conservancy where you will stay for two nights at the Doro Nawas Camp. During the journey some of Africa's finest scenery will pass beneath the aircraft such as the misty Skeleton Windhoek 1 night Kulala Wilderness Reserve 2 nights Doro Nawas Conservancy 2 nights Etosha National Park 2 nights Coast, mysterious fairy circles, the shifting desert sands and, weather depending, possibly the Spitzkoppe peaks and the Brandberg Mountain. Overlooking the Aba-Huab River, the camp is perched on a rocky outcrop offering guests panoramic views of the rugged Damaraland landscape. Explore this beautiful region on scenic guided walks and game drives with opportunities to see the elusive desert elephant, gemsbok, brown hyena and black-backed jackal amongst others. A visit to the petrified forest and petroglyphs near the World Heritage Site of Twyfelfontein is a must. DAYs 7 & 8 By light aircraft, transfer to Andersson's Camp in the Etosha National Park and enjoy views over the Etosha saltpan, savannah and the catchments of the Huab and Aba-Huab river systems during the flight. Andersson's camp is an eco-sensitive resort made up of 20 tents with the Ondundozonanadana Mountains serving as a magnificent backdrop. Embark on a guided tour into the Etosha National Park to admire the rich diversity of wildlife with a chance to encounter four of the Big Five species as well as rare and endangered animals such as cheetah, Sable and the Damara Dik-Dik. There is also the option to experience a night game drive through Ongava National Park.
