DAY 1 Depart Heathrow overnight with Jet Airways direct to Delhi. DAY 2 Upon arrival in the Indian capital Delhi, you will be met

and transferred for a two night stay at The Imperial, one of the city's most luxurious and prestigious hotels. The remainder of the day is free to relax amongst the opulence around you. Next day, embark on a tour of Delhi, visiting both the `Old' and `New' halves of the city including the Jama Masjid mosque, the Qutab Minar and a drive past the Red Fort. DAY 4 After breakfast, your driver will transfer you by road to Agra (approx. 4½ hours). Upon arrival, check in for an overnight stay at the palatial Oberoi Amarvilas, a magnificent hotel resplendent in an opulent style that befits the Mughal masterpiece that is the Taj Mahal, which stands imperiously before it. This afternoon, visit the Taj Mahal and Agra Fort then simply bask in the magnificent views of the Taj Mahal from your room and just about every other vantage point in the hotel. DAY 5 Your journey continues by road to the fabled `Pink City' of Jaipur, visiting the abandoned city of Fatehpur Sikri along the way and with lunch at the charming Laxmi Palace Vilas in Bharatpur (approx. 6 hours). Upon arrival in Jaipur, check in for a two night stay at the lavishly presented Taj Rambagh Palace. The remainder of the day is free to relax. Next morning, after breakfast, head out to explore the famous Amber Fort. Stop for a spot of lunch, then this afternoon further explore the city, visiting the Royal Observatory and Maharaja's Palace and viewing the beautiful Palace of the Winds. DAY 7 Travelling west out of the city, cross open tracts of dry Rajasthan countryside to the `Blue City' of Jodhpur for a two night stay at the Taj Umaid Bhawan Palace, a resplendent sandstone landmark right in the heart of Jodhpur (approx. 6½ hours). The next morning tour the sights of Jodhpur, visiting the spectacular hilltop Mehrangarh Fort, the beautiful marble Jaswant Thada memorial and bustling local markets. The afternoon is free to relax or further explore this historic city at your leisure. DAY 9 Turning south, the next journey takes you into the Aravali Hills and beautiful Udaipur, a city basking in a glorious lakeside setting and host to numerous romantic palaces and holy temples (approx. 6-7 hours). Along the way, visit Ranakpur and its famous marble Jain temple, and enjoy lunch at Fateh Bagh Palace.
Stay for two nights in Udaipur at the romantic Taj Lake Palace, a dazzling hotel seemingly afloat amidst the scenery of Lake Pichola. Next morning, explore the huge City Palace, visit the Crystal Gallery and enjoy a sedate cruise on the lake (subject to water levels). DAY 11 Transfer to the airport for your Jet Arways flight to Mumbai where upon arrival you will be met and transferred to the prestigious Taj Mahal Palace, a landmark in prime waterfront position overlooking the famous Gateway of India. During your two night stay, enjoy sea views from your room in the original heritage wing of the hotel. Sightseeing the next day takes you to Elephant Cave Island and the main attractions of the city. DAY 13 Transfer to the airport ahead of your Jet Airways direct flight to Heathrow, arriving later the same day.

DAY 13 Transfer to the airport for a Jet Airways flight south to the beautiful beaches of Goa. Upon arrival, transfer to the Leela Kempinski Goa, a fabulously luxurious retreat on magnificent Mobor Beach in the quiet south, for a five night stay on a room and breakfast basis. DAY 18 Transfer back to the airport for your Jet Airways flight to Mumbai, connecting with Jet Airways on to Heathrow, arriving later the same day.
