FOUR SEASONS RESORT PROVENCE AT TERRE BLANCHE
Four Seasons accents its luxurious comfort with vistas of mountains, villages and fragrant fields of lavender and wild thyme. The ideal location for a peaceful rural retreat yet also within striking distance of the excitement of Monte Carlo and the beaches of the Cote d'Azur. Located in a beautiful, hidden corner of Provence approximately thirty minutes from Cannes. From its hilltop vantage point, the restaurant Faventia features sweeping views over the villages of Callian and Montauroux. The warm interior design draws widely from local influences, resulting in an ambience that is at once traditional and modern. With a flair for showcasing contemporary Mediterranean cuisine with Provençal influences, Faventia earned its first star from the prestigious Michelin Guide less than a year after opening. Executive Chef Philippe Jourdin has a rare talent for mixing tradition with innovation. He has incorporated his expertise and use of the finest local products to produce outstanding menus. The result is a cuisine that is simple yet full of flavour, focused on satisfying the most demanding epicure. Four Seasons Resort Provence features a spa with 16 treatment rooms, newly opened in 2007, offering a tranquil oasis dedicated to pursuing personal well-being and the rejuvenation of mind, body and spirit. For the more active there is an outdoor pool that is open during the summer and two exceptional golf courses that wind through pine and oak-clad hills and valleys, providing golfers with sweeping views to neighbouring villages and the Southern Alps. Excellent tennis facilities are also available. Set in intimate buildings, the resort's 110 generously sized suites and villas show their Provencal spirit with natural wood and stone finishes. All offer separate living rooms and bedrooms with contemporary, comfortable furnishings and marble bathroom with separate bath and shower. All have terrace or balcony. Superior suites overlook the valley; Deluxe suites have a quieter ground floor location with views over the valley, mountains or villages beyond. Premier suites have enhanced views and some also overlook the golf courses. Premier one bedroom villas are larger and include a dining area, a separate guest powder room with shower.
