FLY DRIVE IRELAND
With some of the most stunning and diverse natural scenery in Europe the perfect way to explore Ireland's beauty is with a self drive holiday. From the vibrant capital of Dublin across to the Ring of Kerry and the sweeping western coastline, there are endless gems to discover on the Emerald Isle. Our Ireland fly drive breaks include Aer Lingus flights from Heathrow to Cork or Dublin, accommodation as detailed and car hire for your convenience (Opel Vectra or similar).
COUNTIES KERRY & MAYO
6 NIGHTS Fly to Cork and collect your AVIS car. Enjoy the scenic drive of just over an hour to Kenmare and the wonderful Sheen Falls Lodge (p119), your base for the next three nights in a Deluxe room. Moving north along the coast to County Mayo the drive to Ashford Castle (p119) will take approx. two hours. You will then stay at one of Europe's most luxurious castles for a further three nights in a Riverview room. Drive to Cork airport to drop off your car before your return flight to Heathrow.
WEST COAST & DUBLIN
7 NIGHTS Fly to Dublin airport where you pick up your hire car. The drive across to Cong in County Mayo is stunning, leading you to Ashford Castle (p119) for your first two nights in a Riverview room. Head south towards Kenmare and the beauty of Kerry for three nights at Sheen Falls Lodge in a Deluxe room (p119). After experiencing the great outdoors, drive to Dublin for two nights at the Dylan hotel (Style room, p117), a chic contemporary luxury hotel on the south side of the city. For your return flight drive on to Dublin airport and return your car, flying back to Heathrow.
GOLF & CITY BREAK
4 NIGHTS Fly directly to Dublin where you will collect your car and make the short 40 minute drive to the renowned K Club (p118) for two nights in a Superior room of relaxation and of course the golf! Drive to the city of Dublin for a two night stay in the traditional grandeur of The Shelbourne in a Queen room (p116), right in the heart of St Stephen's Green. Return to Dublin airport to drop off your car before your flight home.
