Built on the site of the restored former residences of King Humberto II of Italy near the popular town of Cascais, no expense has been spared in the construction, the decoration or superb facilities available in this hotel. Just to the north lie the fairytale hills of Sintra whilst Lisbon is within easy reach. The hotel is located in the centre of Cascais in front of the sea close to the main restaurants, shops and bars. Cascais itself is located approximately 25 miles from Lisbon. The property has a traditional style, mixed with a modern touch. Vintage Portuguese tiling blends with shiny marble nishes. The hotel boasts two restaurants: the gourmet restaurant Belvedere serving both traditional Portuguese and international cuisine, and Navegantes breakfast restaurant. There are two outdoor saltwater pools, a large Thalasso spa, tness centre and a library. All 124 rooms are large in size and are decorated in traditional elegant style, equipped with airconditioning, television and minibar. The décor is inspired by shades from the sea, blue and grey with just a hint of colour. Standard rooms have views over the gardens; Standard seaview rooms look out over the Atlantic; Junior suites are larger rooms that o er a separate seating area. Transfer from Lisbon airport: 30 minutes.
