Interactive dolphin programmes including swimming with the dolphins can be booked at Atlantis at extra cost. For the active, sports include scuba diving, sailing, floodlit tennis, an 18-hole Tom Weiskopf designed championship golf course located nearby (courtesy shuttle provided) and an enhanced sports centre including yoga/pilates studio. With more than 50,000 marine animals residing in the world's largest open-air marine habitat, Atlantis features amazing experiences for all to discover and share. Atlantis guests receive complimentary access to all of its exotic sea life exhibits and vast pool attractions. These include `The Dig' a labyrinth depicting ancient city streets of the lost city of Atlantis, thrilling water slides with the ultimate plunge through shark infested waters, 20 swimming acres including a seven acre snorkelling lagoon and the five-storey Mayan Temple. Aquaventure includes an immersive waterscape experience including tubing and tidal wave rides, four thrilling water slides on a seven storey slide tower (Power Tower), and there is a children's pool and slides and an activity pool plus miles of beautiful white sandy beaches to explore. The Mandara Spa and health club provides additional treatment rooms and massages, facials and other beauty treatments are available at a charge. Restaurants are an extension of the imaginative experience at Atlantis and there's something for everyone. Choose from convenient snack bars, some located by the pools, enjoy a memorable and fascinating dining experience whilst viewing close up the thriving marine habitat, or select from the speciality restaurants featuring seafood, Chinese, Italian or Asian influenced menus, including the internationally acclaimed Japanese restaurant Nobu which offers an exclusive dining experience. Whether it's casual and relaxed or elegant and more formal dining, Atlantis has a superb choice. Bars including a beach bar are located all around the resort and there are duty free shops, a casino (the largest in the Caribbean), Aura nightclub and evening entertainment. For teenagers 13-17 years old, Club Rush activities during the day include surfing the net, playing on the new X-Box 360, Playstation or Nintendo's Game Cube or watching the newest movie releases on the wide cinema screen. For even more choice adjacent to Atlantis is the new Marina Village, a quaint Bahamian style market place with nearly 20 shops and four restaurants including a steak house, an Italian, a Bahamian restaurant and relaxed café. Rooms at Atlantis are split into four towers: Beach Tower, Coral Tower, the Royal Towers and the new Reef Studios and Suites (new in 2007). The Cove is an exclusive resort within Atlantis. All are linked through the public areas and all have easy access to restaurants, bars and other main facilities. The Cove (new in 2007) has use of a private adults-only pool with luxurious cabanas, and is set centrally between two spectacular beaches.
