In lush tropical gardens in a prime beachfront location, the Golden Sands Resort is in the centre of Batu Ferringhi. Approximately 45 minutes from the airport. A choice of dining options to suit all tastes include Italian, local cuisine or western food at the beachside restaurant. The coffee shop serves snacks and drinks which are also available from the poolside bars. There is a lounge, weekly barbecues and a varied activities programme. A small shopping arcade and Kid's club are available (open 9am-5pm daily) and for ages 4-12 years there is a multi-activity playground.
