This newly refurbished simple first class hotel offers an extensive range of facilities and international standards in a relaxing setting. The Holiday Inn Regent Beach Resort is set in 40 acres of parkland alongside a four mile stretch of glorious sandy beach five miles south of Cha-Am. About 2½ hours drive from Bangkok. A choice of restaurants, poolside bar and cocktail lounge offer a variety of dining options and there are occasional outdoor barbecue buffets. Other facilities include an award winning `Tea Tree Spa', a small shopping arcade, hairdresser and games room. The hotel shuttle bus operates to Hua Hin (at a charge). There are large swimming pools (one exclusively for Regency wing clients) a separate children's pool, miniature golf, one hour's free bicycle hire per stay, a fitness room, tennis and squash courts, sauna and massage. Kuoni guests are also entitled to free entrance to the fitness centre. 560 rooms are elegantly furnished in a contemporary style and feature airconditioning, bath, shower, telephone, fridge, television and balcony. Superior (SUP): are in the main wing, newly refurbished with garden view. Superior gardenview (SGV): front facing, newly refurbished with garden view and partial sea view and are exclusive to Kuoni. Deluxe rooms (DLX): newly refurbished and overlooking the pool. Regency wing rooms (REG): facilities as above plus living area and located in the Regency wing with views over the garden or pool.
