Tea Trails Bungalow Spend a few days in a restored tea plantation bungalow located at Hatton in the hill country of south-central Sri Lanka, about three hours drive from Colombo, or short sea plane transfer. A unique opportunity to stay at 4,000 feet in one of four restored bungalows named after the former British estate manager who lived in them. Bungalows have a separate living room and gardens. Tiger Spotting in Ranthambore Ranthambore National Park is a major example of Project Tiger's conservation plans in Rajasthan which covers some 240 square miles of beautiful scenery. Lakes and rivers are surrounded by steep hills and crags and upon one of these is the striking Ranthambore Fort dating from the 10th Century. Available either as an extension from our main tours, or as part of the Tiger Trail Tour (see p84).

Diving in the Maldives For professional divers and novices alike, there are few places this accessible with such a wonderful array of coral and marine life year round. Many of the dive sites are ranked amongst the best in the world with water visibility at the highest levels sometimes exceeding 50 yards and warm water temperatures throughout the year making diving in the Maldives one of the world's favourite.
