An intimate and beautifully designed deluxe property, part of Jetwing Hotels, set on a stunning wide beach with spacious and stylish accommodation. Highly recommended, The Beach has an added benefit of only a short transfer from Colombo airport. Very charming! Occupying a superb beachfront location, The Beach is centrally positioned in the fishing village of Negombo with local bars, restaurants and shops within walking distance. The Beach is conveniently located approx. 20 minutes drive from Colombo airport. Facilities are minimalist in style and tastefully designed with a wonderful open-air lobby offering impressive sea views. There is an open-air main restaurant where breakfast, lunch and dinner are generally served, and open-air bar to enjoy a sundowner. There is also an airconditioned à la carte restaurant for fine dining. Relax in the spacious gardens surrounding the infinityedged swimming pool, and there is a second pool in the hotels grounds. Leisure facilities include a fitness centre which is complimentary for guests and a luxurious spa offering a range of massage and pampering treatments at an extra cost. There is also a very professionally run supervised children's club for those aged six months to 12 years with separate rooms for different age groups. Babysitting is also possible both at extra cost. For the more energetic there is a tennis court free of charge across the road, and the hotel offers a range of watersports from the beach at extra charge. All Kuoni clients will receive a bottle of sparkling wine and fruit basket. 78 luxuriously designed rooms. Deluxe rooms (DLX): are airconditioned with bath, separate shower enclosure, minibar, television, telephone, tea and coffee making facilities, CD and DVD player and balcony or terrace with sea view. Suites (STE): have facilities as Deluxe rooms with a large sitting area, dressing area, spacious open-air bathroom with a twin jacuzzi, a sun bathing deck and an extra large balcony. The suites enjoy a 24-hour butler service and interconnecting facilities to the adjoining deluxe room if required and balcony. Meal supplements per night: HB £11, FB £22.
