The Scuba Diver course provides pre-entry level certification in three days, consisting of five dives and three theory lessons. This qualification can be upgraded to Open Water Diver if the additional training modules are taken. The Open Water Diver is a five day course consisting of classroom, confined water and open water modules. This will qualify you to dive worldwide. Important Notes A medical certificate of physical fitness may be required and qualified divers must bring proof of diving certification and logbook. We are pleased to advise that passengers booking a Kuoni Worldwide holiday will be fully insured for diving when purchasing the Kuoni Holiday Insurance providing policy conditions are met (p459). We would stress the fact that divers must strictly observe the safety procedures and instructions laid down by the instructors of each resorts dive school, who are the experts on the sport with experience of the local conditions. If you are travelling with any other form of insurance, we strongly recommend that you check the terms of your policy and if necessary take out extra cover. � Dive prices shown do not include boat trips to and from dive sites. Boat trips approx $10 per dive are payable locally. � If you intend to learn to dive whilst you are in the Maldives, you must book a holiday of at least 8 days duration (five days for the Scuba Diver courses). � Open Water and Scuba Diver courses include the necessary equipment as required. � Cost for logbook, certificate, course book and other course materials are not included.
