Sheraton Luxor on the Nile

A popular first class resort on the edge of town with easy access to Luxor. With a superb Nile front location the Sheraton is a favourite with Kuoni clients. About one mile from the centre of Luxor, set in well kept gardens which lead to the water's edge. The Sheraton has a choice of restaurants (one for half board), bars and some shops. Kuoni guests receive 10% discount at the Sheraton's à la carte restaurants. A complimentary bus service runs to the centre of town. The swimming pool is overlooking the river and for the more energetic tennis is available. All 290 rooms are of a similar size and Standard have television, airconditioning, bath, shower and fridge. Standard rooms (STD): either in the main building with small balcony or in garden bungalows (BUN) (without balcony). Nileview rooms (NV): in the main building with Nile view and a small balcony. Meal supplement per night: HB £10.
mercure luxor
A popular medium class hotel. A good choice for those who enjoy a lively centrally located hotel with plenty of atmosphere. In a very central location, just across the road from the River Nile, the Mercure Luxor is a short stroll from the shops and five minutes walk from Luxor Temple. A good choice of restaurants are available including a coffee shop and a small shopping arcade. There is a bar and in addition to the disco, other evening entertainment is provided. The swimming pool and snack bar is set in an attractive garden courtyard. The 314 rooms are either in the main building or in the quieter courtyard wing. All have airconditioning with bath, shower, minifridge, telephone, television and have a balcony or terrace often overlooking the Nile. Meal supplement per night: HB £11.
