I Day 3 Wed A morning visit of the sights at Edfu and sail to Aswan via Kom Ombo and overnight. B,L,D. I Day 4 Thu Visit the High Dam, Philae Temple and the unfinished Obelisk. After lunch enjoy some free time to explore the beautiful and ancient sights of Aswan situated on the First Cataract, or a leisurely and scenic sail in a felucca. Overnight Aswan. B,L,D. I Day 5 Fri This morning enjoy time at leisure or an optional excursion (at extra cost) to the Temple of Abu Simbel by air (p222 for details). Sail to Edfu for overnight. B,L,D. I Day 6 Sat After a visit to Edfu Temple, one of the best preserved and second largest temple in Egypt, dedicated to the falcon headed god, Horus, sail to Luxor and overnight. B,L,D. I Day 7 Sun This morning journey north, travelling by road to Qena and the Dendera Temple. In the afternoon visit the temples of Luxor and Karnak. B,L,D. I Day 8 Mon Disembark after breakfast and fly GB Airways or Monarch Airlines to Gatwick, or Manchester at a supplement. Alternatively you may extend your holiday in Luxor, Cairo or the Red Sea. B.
