A beautiful first class resort set in lush and spacious grounds. Excellent standards and facilities and a warm and friendly atmosphere have made this one of the coasts most popular hotels with Kuoni guests. Idyllically located on the white sands of Diani Beach surrounded by coral coves, nestling between cliffs covered in flowering vegetation and lush tropical gardens. The hotel is set with panoramas over the beach which is accessed by steps. The spacious resort style hotel is 30 miles south of Mombasa and about 90 minutes from the airport. Leopard Beach is one of the best hotels on the Kenya Coast offering an excellent selection of restaurants including the main restaurant, offering table d'hôte meals and extensive buffets; the superb à la carte grill specialising in seafood is located amidst tropical ponds; a poolside bistro with ice cream and fruit juice bars, an oceanfront pizzeria, beachside bar and al fresco lunch restaurant. Half board clients can choose from either lunch or dinner to be included. The airconditioned cocktail bar and al fresco bar overlooking the pool and ocean have become two of Diani's most popular meeting points. A large freeform swimming pool is located by the beachfront together with an excellent watersports centre offering scuba diving (SSI and PADI), windsurfing, deep sea fishing and glass bottom boats (all at an extra charge). Free activities include beach volleyball, water polo, table tennis, tennis and nature walks through the hotel's grounds. An 18-hole golf course is nearby (extra cost). A boutique and cyber café are also available. The resort offers an additional adult-only swimming pool with jacuzzis as part of the Uzuri Spa & Fitness Forest, a peaceful retreat set in six acres of indigenous forest with a nature trail. Offering massage, beauty treatments and a well equipped fitness centre with sauna and steam bath, this is an area of tranquillity and relaxation to enjoy fresh fruits, healthy snacks and salads. Regular and varied evening entertainment includes beach barbecues, live music and folklore performances at the poolside. 155 rooms in double storey blocks and charming semidetached cottages situated in the gardens, which are airconditioned, with shower, bath, telephone, television, tea and coffee making facilities and minibar. Standard rooms (STD): as above mostly amongst gardens with balcony or terrace. Superior rooms: are larger and are sea (SSF) or garden (SGV) facing, with small patios and sun loungers and also have additional television channels. (Due to the lush vegetation, sea facing does not guarantee a sea view). Chui Cottages (CHU): beautiful semi-detached cottages with stunning ocean views, gardens or patios (double beds only). Honeymoon suite (HS): beautifully appointed suites with sitting area, magnificent views, jacuzzi and/or double shower and include the gourmet package allowing unrestricted menu choice in Chui Grill restaurant (double beds only).
