A fantastically located deluxe class hotel set on one of the original quays of the waterfront and within walking distance to the Robben Island ferry and shopping complex. With Table Mountain as it's backdrop this stylish hotel is located in the heart of the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront complex, a stone's throw from the working port and private quays, and approx. 25 minutes from the airport. 2005 saw the completion of an additional 26 luxury bedrooms and the complete refurbishment of the hotel. Originally built as a warehouse in 1904, the V & A today offers some of the best accommodation we've seen in Cape Town. A fine restaurant overlooks the harbour and provides a fascinating spot to watch daily life go by while the cocktail bar's minimalist design and décor and glazed walk-in wine cellar afford dramatic views and inviting seating for pre and post dinner drinks. Secure parking is available. The elegant rooms have been creatively styled and feature a wide range of amenities including airconditioning, television, state-of-the-art flat screen television, minibar, shower, bath, tea and coffee making facilities. Views are either of the Piazza (PF) or Table Mountain (MF).
