Two nights are spent here in the heart of Argentina's wine region. B. I Day 5 Wed Transfer to the airport for your flight with via Buenos Aires to Iguaçu for two nights. I Day 7 Fri Fly south to Buenos Aires for two nights. Argentina's capital is a cosmopolitan city with excellent shopping and dining opportunities or you may decide to take the ferry across the River Plate to visit neighbouring Uruguay. B. I Day 9 Sun Continue by plane to San Carlos de Bariloche in Argentina's spectacular Lake District for two nights in this charming lakeside town. B. I Day 11 Tue Cross back into Chile aboard the `Cruce Del Lago' a journey by road and boat across emerald mountain lakes and around snow capped mountains. Despite crossing through the Andes Mountains this full day journey never exceeds 3,250 feet above sea level and finishes in the town of Puerto Varas on the shores of Lake Llanquihue, where you will stay overnight. B,L. I Day 12 Wed Fly from Puerto Montt south to Punta Arenas. From here continue North towards the Torres del Paine National Park. The next three nights are spent here and include all meals, selected drinks and a daily programme of excursions both in and around the national park. I Day 15 Sat Flight north to Chile's capital Santiago for two nights. Offering time to explore before your return flight with LAN via Madrid to Heathrow arriving Tuesday morning. Alternatively take one of our optional extensions to the Atacama Desert or Easter Island. atacama extension I Day 17 Mon Fly north to Calama and transfer to the small town of San Pedro de Atacama for three nights. The Atacama desert is one of the driest places on Earth and excursions are included to visit some of the spectacular sights including the striking scenery of the Moon Valley and the Tatio Geysers (please ask for full details of excursions).
