then proceed to Naivasha stopping briefly at the famous Thompsons falls for a photo opportunity, arriving late afternoon at the Great Rift Valley lodge. Here you stay two nights in interconnecting rooms.
DAY 6 ² Enjoy a full day at the
lion, leopard, cheetah and rhino. Get the cameras ready! Drive back to the camp for lunch with the afternoon at leisure then overnight.
DAY 9 ² After breakfast leave the Mara and head back to Nairobi where you will arrive in the early afternoon. Lunch is taken at the famous Carnivore Restaurant, after which relax at the Holiday Inn in a day room and by its pool to shed off the dust after your safari. Later you will transfer to the airport for your overnight Kenya Airways flight back to Heathrow.

DAY 2 ² On arrival transfer to the
1 Jeep Safari in Kenya
Holiday Inn where you will stay for one night. In the afternoon enjoy optional visits to a giraffe centre or snake park.
DAY 3 ² After breakfast journey north in your own private vehicle, to the Sangare ranch in the Aberdare mountains for lunch. Afternoon at leisure. Spend two nights here with game drives plus a host of optional activities offered by the camp such as night drives, horse riding, boat riding, trekking, flower/tea farm visits, bird walks, and visits to the famous mau mau caves (all extra cost). Overnight in a tent with one large bed and two single beds. DAY 5 ² Depart for Lake Naivasha today with a visit to a tea farm where you will be given an insight into the tea and coffee growing in Kenya. Lunch is taken at the farm,
lodge and its recreational activities including game and bird walks with experienced naturalists, boating, treasure hunts, educational games, horseriding, catch and study of butterflies, tree planting, and learning how to identify birds.
DAY 7 ² Leaving Naivasha behind,
head due south to the Masai Mara, travelling across the breadbasket of Kenya, before reaching Siana Springs camp in time for lunch. After a restful afternoon, your little ones can engage in various activities offered there such as building your own mini Maasai homes, learning how to make a fire with a pair of sticks, and taking casts of big cat tracks from the real thing. Overnight in an en suite tent with room for four.
DAY 8 ² Breakfast at the camp, then
your choice of extensions
KENYA COAST DAY 9 ² Fly Mombasa Air from the
Mara to Mombasa via Ukunda for three nights at the family friendly Voyager Beach Resort (p310) in a Superior gardenview room. DAY 12 ² Return Kenya Airways flight to Heathrow via Nairobi, arriving the following day.
