continue by coach to the imperial architectural masterpiece of Lutyens New Delhi. Drive in the afternoon to Agra for two nights (130 miles, approx. 5 hours).
DAY 4 ² This morning visit the spectacular Taj Mahal. You will be met by a professional photographer who will advise you on how to get the best shots of this iconic building. A short tour around Agra follows including the 16th Century red sandstone fort and the fairy tale Jahangir Palace. We highly recommend the optional tour to the Taj Mahal at sunset. DAY 5 ² After an early breakfast leave Agra for the Pink City
Shimla was once the summer capital of the British Raj. DAY 8 ² Morning Shatabdi Express train to Kalka (4½ hours) then by narrow gauge toy train (5 hours) through the foothills of the Himalayas to Shimla, spend three nights or more here. DAY 9 TO DAY 10 ² Time to explore the many lanes and walks and take in the beautiful view from along The Mall. DAY 11 ² Drive down to Kalka (70 miles) to connect with the Shatabdi Express train to Delhi (4½ hours) and transfer to the Crowne Plaza for one night. DAY 12 ² Fly Jet Airways to Heathrow arriving same day.

DAY 6 ² Leave Jaipur and visit the ancient imposing Amber Fort. In the afternoon return to Jaipur and the Royal Observatory and Maharajahs Palace. Marvel at the unique Hawa Mahal (Palace of the Winds), take a rickshaw ride through the bustling streets. In the evening enjoy a farewell dinner at a local restaurant.
Ranthambore National Park is a major example of Project Tigers conservation plans in Rajasthan. DAY 7 TO DAY 9 ² Drive Jaipur to Ranthambore for three nights. Three game drives in open top canters are included. DAY 10 ² Catch the Jan Shatabdi express train (5½ hours) to Delhi and overnight. DAY 11 ² Fly Jet Airways arriving Heathrow the same day.
