Direct Eurostar or Eurostar + overnight train via Paris to Bourg Saint-Maurice, then funicular to Arc1600 (7mins) & shuttle bus to other areas.
Located in the heart of the Tarentaise, on the edge of the Vanoise mountain range, Les Arcs is an excellent all-round ski resort split into four pedestrianised centres at four different altitudes, all with superb children's facilities. It is home to the Olympic flying kilometre and boasts Europe's biggest vertical drop. Enjoy an impressive variety of terrain including some of the longest descents in the Alps and a very attractive area of woodland runs. Arc1600 (1600m): The quietest of the four resorts and the most suitable for families. Arc1800 (1800m): Three areas (Charvet, Villards, Charmettoger) form the resort of Arc1800, the largest and liveliest of the four. Arc1950 (1950m): Brand new village built in a traditional style, located at the foot of the slopes.
