Cauterets (altitude 1000m) is a traditional village and spa located in the heart of the Pyrenees National Park. Facing the Vignemale, the highest mountain this side of the Pyrenees, the resort has more than a passing resemblance with its Alpine cousin, namely Chamonix. Located at the foot of the slopes, this new residence is divided into 44 apartments over two large traditional style chalets (with lift) and offers views over the valley and the slopes, 50m from the ski lifts and the ESF ski school, 100m from the shops. Facilities: Communal lounge with open fire, fitness suite. Payable locally: Cot hire for children under 2: e25/stay (subject to availability, state at time of booking).
