Producer Prole The Jute Works Traidcraft sourced its very rst products from Jute Works and they featured in the rstever catalogue. A registered charitable trust, The Jute Works was established in 1973 to rehabilitate war-widowed and war-affected poor, rural women of Bangladesh. Although still working with womens groups, they are now working more widely with family and community businesses, and aim to work with marginalised people and in remote areas.
