Malawi and Zambia Malawi and Zambia Malawi is a little-known gem in the heart of Africa, a small country of diverse beauty, friendly people and amazing wildlife. We visit basket makers near Blantyre and go south to meet small-scale producers of fair trade sugar in the Shire Valley. We spend a few days relaxing in Liwonde National Park and visit Lake Malawi. Our tour draws to a close in Zambia based on the edge of the amazing South Luangwa National Park, which has the largest concentration of wild game in the world. Producer Prole Tribal Textiles Tribal Textiles was founded in 1991 and is based on the edge of the South Luangwa National Park in a rural region of Zambia with extremely limited employment opportunities.
