This is a charming chalet lying in a quiet location, just 300m down the hill from the original resort centre with its shops, bars and restaurants. The Chalet Bergerie has been beautifully finished and offers a cosy relaxed atmosphere a real home from home. The spacious, ground floor is open plan, featuring a lounge area with a comfy sofa to collapse into in front of the large flat screen TV at the end of the day with a further cosy corner near the log fireplace and a dining area with one long dining table for shared mealtimes. There are stunning views over the valley from the lounge, most bedrooms and the large balcony.The slopes & ski school meeting point are a 400m walk up the hill, the ski bus stop is 30m away. ACCOMMODATION: GROUND FLOOR: Entrance hall, spacious open plan room with lounge area, satellite flat screen TV, DVD, cosy seating, log fireplace, dining area and balcony with stunning views.

Two further bedrooms with twin beds and a mezzanine floor with two additional low beds under a sloping ceiling (accessed by a steep open wooden staircase not suitable for young children). La Rosière is the only resort in the Savoie region to offer heliskiing. This once-in-alifetime experience takes you from the Petit Saint Bernard pass over to the Aosta Valley where fantastic off-piste powder and adrenaline producing vertical awaits. Accompanied by experienced off-piste guides, this is an unforgettable activity for any powder addicts.
SNOWKITING ON THE BORDER
The Petit Saint Bernard pass, at an altitude of 2188m, is located on the wide plateau between La Rosière and La Thuile. Its snow record is phenomenal and the wind conditions perfect for snowkiters. The specialist snowkiting school offers lessons and courses to help you discover this fantastic sport.
DOGSLEDDING
There's nothing quite like zipping through stunning winter scenery behind your own team of dogs. Tasters, beginner sessions and more adventurous halfday excursions are available.
WINTER WALKS
La Rosière maintains a 10km network of marked winter trails through varied terrain including snowy forests, around the village and on the mountain. Three chairlifts are open to walkers so everyone can reach the highest summits and admire the beautiful views of the HauteTarentaise region.
