S TAY A N D S A I L - P O R T O H E L I , G R E E C E We e k Tw o - O n F l o t i l l a For your second week you will move from your accommodation at the Nautica Bay Beachclub Korfos Corinth Canal Isthmia Neilson Base Facilities Anchorage Example West Example East Piraeus Athens Thursday - Khaladi Moor up in the bay of this small fishing town, look out for the turtles which are often spotted here and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere. Friday - Porto Heli Spend the day making your way back to the Neilson base in Porto Heli; there is plenty of time to stop for lunch in one of the many bays en route. Saturday - Departure Day onto your yacht, moored up on the Neilson pontoon in front of the hotel. The following day the flotilla will depart, following a route planned by the lead crew. After which you will enjoy the wonderful sailing on offer in this beautiful AEGINA PELOPONNESE Epidavros Navplion Vivari Tolon Galatas Astros Khaladi Ermioni Saronic Gulf Methana Peninsula Póros Argolic Gulf HYDRA Porto Heli EAST Saturday - Porto Heli Sunday - Ermioni Once an important harbour, today little remains of the ancient city and the village is relatively untouched by tourism. Monday - Methana Known for its thermal springs, Methana is an island connected to the mainland by a narrow crossing. Methana Town has an attractive tree-lined promenade with a variety of tavernas and bars. Tuesday - Epidavros Home to one of the most impressive archaeological sites in Greece - an ancient theatre, wonderfully preserved. Wednesday - Poros Just 250 metres from the mainland, Poros is a tiny island said to have once been home to Poseidon. Thursday - Spetses A beautiful wooded island, with an attractive main town featuring broad squares and avenues. Friday - Porto Heli Saturday - Departure Day SPETSES Plaka 20 Nautical Miles area of Greece. You may take one of two routes, heading east or west from Porto Heli. Flotilla routes are for example only and are not fixed. Routes may change depending on the size of the flotilla, time of year and weather conditions. Map is approximate and is for guidance only WEST Saturday - Porto Heli Our base is ideally situated to enjoy the best that the Peloponnese has to offer. Sunday - Plaka Sailing from Porto Heli across the Argolic Gulf to the pretty harbour town of Plaka, set against a dramatic backdrop of high mountains. Monday - Astros Heading north from Plaka is the bustling fishing village of Astros. Tuesday - Navplion Navplion is a maze of narrow streets with Venetian, Turkish and neo-classical buildings. Wednesday - Vivari We anchor here in a beautiful bay, with crystal clear water - perfect for swimming and snorkelling. 46
