29 December cape town/oudtshoorn After breakfast, travel towards Oudtshoorn and take in beautiful views on the drive over St Lowry's Pass. We travel via the historic town of Swellendam to Mossel Bay where we can enjoy lunch (not included) at a seaside restaurant. We travel on to Calitzdorp South Africa's port wine capital for a tasting at one of the renowned estates. Afterwards we travel to Oudtshoorn, the ostrich farming region of South Africa, and our hotel, where we are treated to a traditional farm dinner. 30 December cango caves & meeiringspoort Pass Today we visit the magnificent Cango Caves, an ancient natural wonder. At the Cango Ostrich Farm we can see these giant birds up close and maybe even try riding one. Afterwards we see the beautiful rock formations of Meeiringspoort Pass before returning to the lodge. Tonight is free for you to dine where you choose. neW year's eve Knysna & Plettenberg bay Enjoy a coastal journey to Knsyna and take a dip in the Indian Ocean at Plettenberg Bay. Afterwards we visit the Elephant Park before transferring to the hotel. We leave the hotel in the early evening for the vibrant Knysna Waterfront, ready for a fabulous New Year's Eve dinner and party. neW year's Day Knysna Lagoon Enjoy a cruise on Knysna Lagoon to the Western Head before driving to the top of the reserve, where you can take a guided nature walk if you wish, before a spectacular outdoor lunch. Afterwards enjoy free time to explore, taking dinner at leisure in one of the many restaurants.

2 & 3 JanUary mossel bay & swellendam/ UK See Mossel Bay, where European explorers first came ashore, and the excellent Bartholomeu Dias Museum. We then revisit Swellendam, one of South Africa's oldest towns, where lunch is included before travelling to Cape Town airport for the homeward flight, arriving the next day. yoUr hoteLs Queens hotel (4-star) or similar, 2 nights bed and breakfast.
