ItInerary 21 December London/Fiera de Primiero Fly to Venice and transfer to Fiera de Primiero and your hotel. 22 December the Dolomites & bolzano christmas market Youll love the Christmas market in Bolzano which simply oozes festive spirit. Hundreds of twinkling Christmas lights light up the Piazza Walther in the centre of Bolzano and smells of festive food and drink waft though the streets to the sound of Christmas music. This is the ideal place for last-minute shopping, browsing or simply soaking up the seasonal atmosphere. 23 December Venice There is no city quite like it anywhere on earth. On our optional full day trip to beautiful Venice, we will show you some of the lesserknown sights, as well as its most celebrated monuments and buildings. We travel across the lagoon by private boat, taking in the views along the way. We then take a walking tour along the quiet backwaters of hidden Venice to experience a side of the city few visitors see. The tour ends amid the architectural splendour of St Marks Square, the Basilica de San Marco and the Rialto Bridge, when there will be time for independent sightseeing. Your Tour Guide will be happy to suggest a delightful café or two to enjoy a little people-watching whilst lingering over a coffee, or some of Venices most delightful shops and museums. chrIstmas eVe mediaeval Feltre & the Prosecco White Wine road Today we explore the beautiful little mediaeval town of Feltre before taking a drive along part of the White Wine Road where Italys famous sparkling wine, Prosecco, is produced. The White Wine Road of the Veneto stretches from the city of Conegliano in the east to the hills of Valdobbiadene in the west, meandering through undulating hillsides covered in vineyards. We make a stop in one of the vineyards for a tasting of the wines and a light lunch of local specialities. The late afternoon is free to relax before our lavish five-course Italian Christmas Eve feast this evening.
