On arrival, enjoy a welcome drink in the hotels top-floor panoramic bar. 23 December como & bellagio Today we visit the beautiful lakeside town of Como. Situated on the southern tip of the lake, Como is a haven of tranquillity, and bursting with history. Look out for the two impressive cathedrals and if you have time, the art gallery is well worth a visit. With stylish boutiques and designer stores a plenty, not to mention the vibrant Christmas market, youll have great opportunities for last minute Christmas shopping, or just browsing and soaking up the festive atmosphere. Later, we take a ferry boat to one of the quietest but most attractive resorts on the lake the charming village of Bellagio before returning to Cadenabbia. chrIstmas eve Lake maggiore Discover Lake Comos stunning sister lake, Maggiore today. Well take you to the town of Stresa, from where you will have plenty of time to enjoy your surroundings. Stroll along the pretty lakeside promenade or take a boat out onto the lake to experience the beautiful views. The nearby Borromean Islands are worth a visit if you have time, with their glorious gardens and villas. In the evening, you can join in with the traditional Italian Christmas celebrations with a special Christmas Eve dinner and live music at the hotel. chrIstmas Day Lake como Wake up on this special day to your idyllic surroundings. The day is your own to enjoy as you please, opening presents and relaxing. A leisurely breakfast will be served, followed by a full Christmas Day lunch later on. This full day trip will take you on a magical journey to Tirano by coach, and then through the tunnels and spirals of the Bernina Pass on the Bernina Express train. The 38 mile journey between Tirano and St Moritz is one of spectacular scenery and unforgettable sights. It is situated in the tiny resort of Cadenabbia, right on the shores of Lake Como. It offers guests comfortable accommodation in a stunning location.
