ITINERARY DAY 1 Monday 8 September Southampton We set sail from Southampton at 1600. DAY 2 Cruising Time to get into the spirit of cruising as we head south. DAY 3 Vigo Dramatic seascapes and deep-cut forested estuaries are the hallmarks of Galicia, the north-western region of Spain. Our port of call today is the pretty coastal town of Vigo, Galicias largest town and the biggest fishing port in Spain. From here we can visit Santiago de Compostela, an important mediaeval pilgrimage destination that still attracts thousands of pilgrims each year to the Cathedral of St James. DAY 4 Cruising Join one of the port lectures whilst on board to learn about the fascinating ports of call still to come. DAY 5 Funchal Known as the Floating Garden, Madeira is famous for it spectacular landscapes, traditional villages and, of course, its tropical flowers. From the pretty capital Funchal our wide range of shore excursions will show you the immense natural beauty of the island. DAY 6 La Palma We reach the Canary Islands today and call at the small island of La Palma and
