Day 5 Leknes, Lofoten Islands*, Norway Arrive 0800 Depart 1800 The Lofoten Islands are home to picturesque fishing villages and are surrounded by a rugged coastline. Shop for souvenirs around the harbour at Leknes and admire the scenery which comprises white-sand beaches and soaring mountain peaks. Why not visit the Viking Museum, where you will see an impressive reconstruction of a Viking longhouse. Day 6 Honningsvåg, Norway Arrive 2000 Depart 0130 The brightly painted wooden buildings in pretty Honningsvåg are surrounded by breathtaking fjords, waterfalls and areas of dense forest, all bathed in the mysterious summertime light of the Midnight Sun. Day 7 Tromsø, Norway Arrive 1400 Depart 1900 Tromsø is the gateway to the Arctic and capital of Northern Norway. Why not visit the Polaria Museum, where bearded seals are the main attraction in its Arctic aquarium. Tromsø's most recognisable landmark is the impressive Arctic Cathedral, a distinctive structure whose design was inspired by Norway's landscapes. Day 8 Relaxing day at sea Day 9 Geiranger*, Norway Arrive 1200 Depart 1800 This small village lies at the head of the Geirangerfjord. Surrounded by snow-capped peaks, lush green vegetation and thundering waterfalls, including the famous Seven Sisters which consists of seven separate streams, it is one of the most stunning of the mainland fjords.
