DAY 2 Prague's Old Town Known as the `City of a Hundred Spires', Prague is renowned for its elegant architecture, historic landmarks and charming mediaeval streets. As we explore the Old Town we are able to soak up the atmosphere of this vibrant city. A great place to start today's included tour is the Old Town Square, lined with lavishly decorated, pastel-painted houses. Stop to admire the fascinating Astronomical Clock; the 18th-century Church of St Nicholas; and the lovely Rococo Palace of Goltz-Kinsky. Continue to what is perhaps Prague's most familiar monument, the Charles Bridge, which majestically spans the River Vltava, linking the Old Town with the castle district. DAY 3 Prague's Castle District Today's included half day's sightseeing introduces us to the Hradcany Quarter, home to Prague's impressive hilltop castle, which has retained churches, chapels, halls and towers from every period of the city's rich history. The imposing facade gives way to cobbled courtyards and the Gothic splendour of St Vitus' Cathedral.
