DAY 1 UK/Florence Fly to Pisa and transfer to your choice of hotel in Florence for a four-night stay. DAYS 2 4 Florence Set against a beautiful backdrop of rolling Tuscan hills, Florence is a city like no other. As the historic centre is compact, most of the sights can be explored on foot. Your introduction to the city begins with an included sightseeing tour on the first morning in the company of our local Florentine guide. Your Tour Manager will also be available throughout your stay to help you get the most from your short break. We offer two excellent optional excursions: The Uffizi Gallery (half day) The Uffizi is among the most famous and greatest of all art galleries. The list of painters whose work is on display here reads like a whos who of historys most accomplished artists. Here you will see works by Giotto, Fra Angelico, Leonardo da Vinci, Caraveggio and Botticelli, to name just a few. Our visit to the gallery is accompanied by an excellent Florentine guide, enhancing your appreciation of this wonderful collection. Siena (full day) This delightful Tuscan hill town has changed remarkably little since the Middle Ages. Narrow streets and alleys wind their way through mediaeval arches and past Renaissance palazzi to the fan-shaped Piazza del Campo. DAY 5 Florence/UK Return to Pisa airport for your flight home.

The guest rooms are split between two adjacent buildings and all have TV and telephone. Palazzo Ognissanti (4-star), This is a small hotel in a former 19th-century palazzo, centrally located just a short walk from the church Santa Maria Novella. Stylishly decorated throughout, it offers a breakfast room and comfortable guest rooms with TV, safe and minibar.

DAY 1 UK/Rome Fly to Rome, where you will meet your Tour Manager and transfer into the city centre for a four-night stay. DAYS 2 4 Rome You have three full days in the Italian capital in which to gaze in awe at ancient monuments, Renaissance palaces, baroque buildings and stylish designer boutiques. Our included tour by coach will introduce you to some of the citys highlights and your Tour Manager will advise you of what to see, good places to eat and help with the language. Admire the Piazza Navona, home to Berninis colossal Fountain of the Four Rivers, and the famous Spanish Steps. If shopping is your pleasure head for the designer stores of the Via Condotti. You cant miss the sights such as St Peters Basilica, the Roman Forum and Castel Sant Angelo, and be sure to take time in a pavement cafe to enjoy an espresso. Optional excursions: Baroque Rome (half day) From the Piazza Navona to the Trevi Fountain, discover some of the worlds finest examples of baroque art on this splendid walking tour. Ancient Rome (half day) This unmissable introduction to some of the ancient splendours of the Eternal City takes us to see the Colosseum, the Forum, Palatine Hill and the Flavian Palace.
