DAy 1 UK/Venice We fly to Venice for a four- night stay. DAyS 2 4 Venice The very mention of Venice conjures up images of romantic waterways; gondoliers in striped tops; and the hustle and bustle of St Marks Square. We have three full days to get to know this vibrant city and soak up the atmosphere. A sightseeing tour is included to help us get our bearings on the first day; youre then free to explore. Admire the fabulous Basilica, Doges Palace and Campanile in St. Marks Square. Be sure to visit the Grand Canal, the citys main street, the Rialto Bridge and nearby Rialto Market. A romantic gondola ride is a lovely way to see the city. Magnificent museums abound including the Ca Rezzonico Museum of 18th Century Art and the Museo Correr. Aside from the main streets, you will discover a host of narrow alleys, beautiful squares, narrow canals and fascinating churches. An optional excursion to Panoramic Venice & its Islands will give us the chance to discover the city as the Venetians themselves know it and tourists never see. DAy 5 Venice/UK Return to the airport for the homeward flight.
